Maruti Suzuki Launch facelift of Alto 800 at 2.49 Lakh (ex- showroom Delhi)

Maruti Suzuki today launched the retouched Alto 800 with more features and improved fuel efficiency to better deal with the competition, a.k.a. Renault Kwid. The new Alto 800 can take you 24.7km on every litre of petrol under ideal conditions compared to 22.7kmpl figure of the previous model.

Cosmetic touches on the car include:
– New Aero Edge Design
– Redesigned headlamp
– Wider and lower front grille
– Provision for front fog lamp
– Two new exterior colours: Mojito Green and Cerulean Blue
– Fresh, elegant & classic interiors
– New designer seat and door trim fabric

New features include:

– Remote central locking
– Rear door child lock
– New generation brake booster for improved braking performance
– Improved rear seat comfort with integrated headrest

Earlier, the Alto 800’s base variant didn’t come with a passenger side mirror. On the new car, it’ll be available as standard, which is a great move given the need to prevent brushing against other motorists. In the interest of road safety, the company is also offering driver-side airbag as an optional equipment for an additional sum of just Rs. 6,000. The noteworthy thing in the optional safety pack is that it’s available right from the base ‘Standard’ variant.

Ex-showroom, Delhi prices of the updated Alto 800 are as follows:

STD – 2,49,000
STD (O) – 2,55,000
