Suzuki has updated its product line up in the India, starting wih the popular commuter, the Suzuki Gixxer.
The company has brought in the BS-IV engine update to the Suzuki Gixxer and Gixxer SF motorcycle twins, as well as to scooter the Suzuki Access.
All three products will now see BS-IV compliant engines, which are actually going to be prime requirements from the government, starting April 1, 2017.
All three products have also been updated with the Automativ Headlight On or AHO function, which is also going to become mandatory across the country from the same deadline.
The Suzuki Gixxer now comes with a dual disc, as well as a front disc and drum brake combination. The same is with the Gixxer SF as well. THe siblings come powered by a 155cc single-cylinder engine, which produces 14 BHp of power at 8,000 rom and 14.6 Nm of peak torque at 8,500 rpm. The bikes have now been offered with three new paint shades, including dual tone shades as well.
The Suzuki Access on the other hand gets updated with a total of six body shades. Prices for the Suzuki Gixxer range from Rs. 77,452 to Rs. 80,528 ex-showroom. Gixxer SF is priced between Rs. 89,659 to Rs. 93,499, both prices being ex-showroom.
The Access scooter comes powered by a 125cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine and is a direct rival to the highly popular Honda Activa 125. The prices for the updated Suzuki Access range between Rs. 54,302 to Rs. 57,315 ex-showroom.
