Jaguar’s I-Pace sets Record at Weathertech Raceway Laguna Seca in Production EV category

Jaguar does a promotional stunt in USA at Weathertech Raceway Laguna Seca which locate at California state its lap record run which done by Randy Pobst which is a professional racing driver and he made  a record while driving a production spec I- Pace and it take 1 min 48 .18 sec to make a lap record in Raceway Laguna Seca its a 3.602 km and 11 turn track and this lap are recorded ahead of Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion because its basically a Promotional run because California is a place of Tesla Birth so on that place Jaguar done this Lap record to show  Tesla and USA people they can also have a capability to make a perfect EV which can replace conventional engine . After this record Jaguar does some announcement related to I -Pace , recently a Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance happen where all manufactures are come and show their some exciting prototype and does some new announcement  on that occasion , Jaguar show I-Pace E trophy race car first time in Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion and Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance  and announce Jaguar is organizing a championship of I-Pace E trophy which is held in the beginning of Season 5 of ABB FIA Formula E and Formula E is a EV racing car which is based on formula one car and its not a road legal car but I-Pace a road legal car so in the history of EV first time E trophy championship happening on the based of road legal and use production car in this race , even Tesla not does this type of event .so basically E -Trophy organize because to promote the Production version of I-Pace which is twin electric motor car and both motor are produce 400PS and 696Nm, delivering 0-100km/h in 4.8s and cost £58,495 in the UK .
