Mahindra launche NuvoSport on 4 April
|New Mahindra is incoming, with a name that surprisingly, doesn’t end with an ‘O’. It’s called the NuvoSport, and will replace the ageing Quanto. To be launched on 4th April 2016, the sub-4 meter long NuvoSport will be based on the same new generation platform as the Scorpio. The NuvoSport will be powered by a new, 1.2-litre petrol engine, dubbed the mHawk 100, while the existing 1.5-litre, three cylinder diesel engine will give it company. The petrol engine will come with the option of a 5-speed manual or an automated manual transmission (auto shift). Here’s a closer look at the compact crossover’s design
Inside, the Nuvosport will continue to offer seven seats, with two jump seats at the back. The dashboard is expected to get a major overhaul, while range topping N8/C8 variants will get first-in-class features like cruise control, eight-way adjustable seats with lumbar support and a double-DIN touchscreen infotainment system. The Mahindra NuvoSport is expected to retail for INR 5.5-lakh – 8.5-lakh.
