Maruti Vitara Brezza launch should be on 21 march

The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is all set to launch on the 21st of March 2016. The compact SUV will compete with the Ford EcoSport and Mahindra TUV300.

Maruti’s first ever compact SUV will be launched in India on the 21st March. The car will be offered with only a diesel engine initially. It will be powered by the familiar 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine that develops 90PS of max power and 200Nm of max torque. The engine will be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Maruti is also looking to launch the Brezza with a 1.2-litre petrol motor and possibly an automatic gearbox too in the future. The Vitara Brezza will be sold only through the company’s regular outlets and not the NEXA premium dealerships.

he compact SUV will be offered with vibrant paint shades with contrasting roof colours. The Yellow and the Blue coloured cars will have a white coloured contrasting roof while the red car will have a black coloured roof. This could be an excellent move by Maruti as no car below the Skoda Yeti offers such an option. The design of the Ford Ecosport competitor is in line with the European spec Vitara SUV with a similar looking front fascia. The car gets a new H-shaped front grille with silver painted skid plates and heavy plastic cladding all around.
